Weekly Devlog II: Week 2
Good evening, Kaiden here. As per last semester's schedule, I'll be taking the reigns on any even numbered devlog.
We had some very large changes implemented last week, namely with the weapon balance, and this week's updates are not nearly as sweeping. Rather, Tyro and I have been dialing in on finishing the levels before polishing the game throughout the rest of development. We've figured the foundation of the game is in a very good shape, we just need the levels done.
Afterwards, we need to trim the rough edges, finalize the graphics and vastly improve the user interface -- the game has looked incomplete visually for some time (no more monotonous blue backgrounds and stock UI!) so we're going to fix that one we've finished all levels.
Given there are 20 levels, we've are currently at the halfway point with 10 complete. We're on track to have the final 10 finished within a week or two. By then, we will have far more visually to show.
